Best Portable Generators and Ductless
Total Comfort’s air conditioning professionals provide a wide range of services to our commercial and residential customers throughout Volusia and Flagler County to keep your home or business comfortable. Ductless systems also increase the energy efficiency substantially. Total Comfort can install wiring that may allow you to run your ductless air conditioner with a best portable generator.
Our experienced commercial electricians provide the best electrical services for your commercial or residential needs including the installation of a circuit to your electrical panel that will allow you to feed that panel from a portable generator.
We recommend that you use a minimum 5,000 watt generator for this purpose.
Our installation will include a custom made electrical cord to link the generator to a special receptacle installed close to where your generator will be located, connecting the newly installed receptacle to your electrical panel, and installation of a “Lock-Out” device in your panel.
The “Lock-Out” device will protect utility workers from inadvertent back feeds of power.
Once installed you will be able to select the circuits that you wish to run up to the capacity of the generator’s output.
The ductless may not be able to cool your entire building, however, it should be able to keep one room cool in case of power outage.

Total Comfort regular service hours are: Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm. 24-Hour Emergency Service Available. When you call outside of our service hours, a live person takes your call 24 hours a day. Our manager on call has access to a whole team to respond to your needs including sales and emergency situations.
